Final charges are based on the actual services performed, including labour, time, inventory, travel, access conditions, waiting time, specialty handling, equipment used, and any additional services requested.
Yes. Final pricing may differ from the estimate if:

  • More labour or trucks are required.
  • Access differs from what was originally disclosed.
  • Waiting time occurs.

Whenever reasonably possible, we will advise you before additional charges are incurred.
Yes. A deposit is required to reserve your moving date.

Deposits generally range from 20% to 50% of the estimated move cost, depending on the size of the move, distance, season, scheduling requirements, and services requested.

Your booking is confirmed once your deposit has been received.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due upon completion of your move.

For larger or multi-day moves, progress payments may be required.

Logistics & Preparation 4 Questions

Yes. An adult (18 years or older) should be present at both pickup and delivery unless other arrangements have been approved in advance.
Yes. Basic furniture disassembly and reassembly can be provided where required. Some specialty or custom furniture may require additional specialized labour.
Customers are responsible for arranging elevator reservations, loading dock access, parking permits, and any approvals required by their building or property manager before moving day.
Yes. Our crews operate year-round. However, severe weather or unsafe road conditions may require scheduling adjustments for safety reasons.

Insurance & Policies 5 Questions

Yes. Team Removals Canada carries commercial insurance and exercises reasonable care while handling your belongings.

Our liability for loss or damage is governed by the valuation coverage selected by the customer and applicable law. Customers with high-value or irreplaceable belongings are encouraged to obtain additional insurance coverage through their own provider.
Team Removals Canada works with a network of qualified moving companies, carriers, and owner-operators throughout Canada.

Where operationally necessary, all or part of your move may be performed by an approved third-party carrier.

When this occurs, the carrier performing the move is responsible for the transportation of your goods and for maintaining applicable insurance, licensing, and liability coverage.

Any claims relating to loss or damage will be handled in accordance with that carrier's valuation coverage, insurance policy, applicable laws, and claims procedures.
Customers should inspect their belongings before the moving crew leaves. Visible damage or missing items should be reported immediately.

Written claims must be submitted within 5 working days after completion of the move.

Team Removals Canada or the carrier performing the move reserves the right to inspect, repair, replace, or resolve any valid claim before compensation is considered.
Yes. We understand plans can change. Deposits may be partially or fully non-refundable depending on the notice provided and booking terms. Rescheduling requests are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
